Amit Zilberstein

Managing Director

Amit Zilberstein is the Managing Director of The Hebrew University Entrepreneurship Center and lecturer in two entrepreneurship seminars, Biodesign and Startup Science Innovation. Amit is an entrepreneur and alum of three startup accelerator programs including MassChallenge and Biztec. He began his first venture in the MedTech field during his M.B.A. studies and has gone on to co-found two additional startups since.  After studying two years of Electrical Engineering and Physics at the Technion, Amit moved to the Hebrew University where he graduated Summa Cum laude with both his B.A. in Accounting and Economics and M.B.A with a focus in Entrepreneurship.

Julia Miller

Community Manager

Julia Miller is the Community Manager of HUstart.  She has a background in international education and a degree from Clemson University in Chinese and Business.  Julia speaks English, Spanish, Chinese and Hebrew.  Her work experience includes: Resident Director for the U.S. State Department’s National Security Language Initiative for Youth in ZhengZhou and Nanjing China; developing and launching a volunteer program and tour infrastructure for international participants to work and visit with Bedouin Youth in Rahat, Israel; and running her own English tutoring firm in Cordoba, Argentina.
Noa Lapidot

Noa Lapidot

Mentorship Manager

Noa Lapidot is the Mentorship Manager.  She served as Executive Vice President R&D and IP Manager at Virdia until
 its requisition by Stora Enso Biomaterials in July 2014 and is now the Intelectual Property Coordinator at SE Biomaterials.  Earlier Noa held managerial positions in several startup companies, including CollPlant, Intec Pharma, Sol-Gel Technologies and Electric Fuel, where she was responsible for establishing and managing R&D and scale up to production, as well as management of the IP portfolio of the companies.  Noa Lapidot holds a Ph.D. and B.SC. (Honors) in Chemistry from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
